Is this for the latest patch (v1.29.55) which just came out Dec 15?

The crack seems to work, but the Launcher breaks when you apply it.

@emcrew56 This isn't a patch, it's a crack so you don't need the cd rom to run the game,

@ MstrShan Does it crash after you press the play button??

I'm aware of that.. that's why I asked.. ''Is this FOR''. Every crack is usually made for some version of the executable/update. The Sims 3 recently went from version 1.26 to 1.29.. which means it needs a new crack.. even if it IS a NoCD.

@emcrew56 Sorry about that, the latest version I'm pretty sure, but it sometimes crashes the launcher, if so, copy the TSW file from your C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Sims 3\Game\Bin from there to your desktop, and then should work as normal, Thanks for your feedback everyone and keep seeding please :P

Couldn't get this to work.
Might be coz i don't understand how to use it...
what does UnRar mean? it's on the instructions, and im aware that it is a type of file, but what is the actual instruction you're giving me? do i have to convert the Rar to an UnRar? and if so, how do i do this?
also, it says to copy the file to
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin

this location does not exist on the game, for some reason. so where do i paste it?

hokayy, so I found out how to UnRAR a file, downloaded the appropriate stuff, did it, followed the instructions, including pasting a copy of the unrar-d file onto desktop to ensure it would work, and it still wont work. why not?

@Charlsberg It also depends on the version of The Sims 3, if it's the most recent update, it probably wont work, and also, is it the Launcher that wont work??? If so, copy the TSW file from your Sims 3 Directory, (where you pasted other 2 files) and paste a shortcut of that on the desktop, then it will work, thanks for your feedback guys

Worked good after downloading the Razor1911 torrent from this site (the one with the most seeds) applying the patch in there, then put these files into the game directory.
